Mesotherapy
What is Mesotherapy?
Mesotherapy is a procedure where a mixture of vitamins, enzymes, hormones, and plant extracts is injected under the skin with a micro-injection technique to rejuvenate, tighten and remove excess oil.
Developed by a French doctor, Michel Pistor, in 1952, mesotherapy was initially used to relieve pain. Later, it started to be used in other parts of the world and became more popular daily.
Mesotherapy can be applied to women or men of almost any age. It is used both in aesthetic applications and for treatment purposes. The idea behind mesotherapy is to correct problems such as poor blood circulation and inflammation under the skin.
Today, the usage areas of mesotherapy are as follows;
- In the removal of fat from areas such as the abdomen, thighs, hips, legs, arms, and face,
- To reduce cellulite,
- In the removal of wrinkles and lines,
- In tightening the skin,
- In the treatment of alopecia causing hair loss.
How is mesotherapy performed?
First, before the mesotherapy session, you should not take pills such as blood thinners and pain relievers because these drugs increase the risk of bleeding and bruising.
The mixture specially prepared for you is injected under the skin one after the other using micro-needles attached to the tip of an automatic gun.
How long does it take to recover after mesotherapy?
Since mesotherapy is not invasive, there is usually no recovery process. Many people can return to their regular activities immediately. Some people may need to rest for a day due to swelling and pain at the injection sites.
